A graduate of the MFA visual arts program at Rutgers University, the Halifax-based artist is intrigued by the semiotics of gesture. Her most recent exhibition Landscape & Decoy was part of the International Biennial of Le Mois de la Photo in Montreal (2005). She is currently photographing an ice-fishing village on Lac des Deux Montagnes, near Hudson, Quebec.
